Food Pantry Ministry
Grace’s Food Pantry Ministry provides a variety of tangible means of service that meet physical and spiritual needs both within our Grace family and our shared community by providing groceries, encouragement, prayer and the Gospel. Through this process of serving we are able to make the goal of our service the Gospel and the roles of leadership and service opportunities for discipleship and spiritual growth. Your prayers and involvement allow us to demonstrate the Gospel in word and deed!

Garden Garage Sale
To get our garden up and growing we’ll be having
a garage sale fundraiser on Saturday, March 3. To make a donation or to
volunteer the day of the sale contact Sheri Stimson.
Collection dates are Feb 29-March 2.
Food Pantry Ministry Teams
Home Delivery Join our team of volunteers delivering groceries, prayer, encouragement and the Gospel to families within Grace and our community who are experiencing financially difficult times. (volunteer days are Saturdays)
Pre-Bag The 2nd Monday each month this team meets in C116 from 10:30-12:30 to pack up groceries that will be distributed thru the ministry. Simply show up!
Tuesday Walk-In Care Tuesdays, twice/monthly 10:00-Noon Grace’s Food Pantry is open to anyone in need both from Grace and our community. We offer groceries, encouragement, prayer and the Gospel.
Garden Team Cultivate a heart of giving and spiritual growth through gardening. Volunteer times and days will vary as we begin to develop this new team. Construction workers, gardeners of all levels are needed and welcome! Once the garden is established regular volunteer hours will follow.
Encouragement Team Share in the joys and struggles of those we serve by sending a note, remembering their birthdays, anniversaries, and praying for them.
CHF Driving Team Pick up supplemental food from Children’s Hunger Fund in Pacoima on Friday mornings prior to home delivery dates.
Outreach Teams Designed to be a pictures of God’s saving grace, these outreaches provide opportunity to share the Gospel in both word and deed.

December Open Food Pantry Food Drives begin one month prior to each event. 200+ volunteers are needed to cover needs starting the month prior leading up to the day of the events.

Mission Trips – as doors open, those who serve regularly as part of the ongoing Food Pantry Ministry are encouraged to participate in short term missions.

Ralph's Reward Card
Registering your Ralph’s Club Card is a great to contribute to the available funds for the Food Pantry at Grace. In addition to receiving your club card benefits, Ralph’s will contribute a percentage of your purchases quarterly to our pantry now through September 1, 2012. (At that time re-enrollment is required to remain active for the following year.)
Enroll your card in-store:
- Stop by the Info Counter and pick up a Ralph’s letterhead with a scanbar designating Grace’s Food Pantry as your community partner.
- Take it to Ralphs and have it scanned the next time you shop. Within a week you will be enrolled.
Enroll your card online:
- Follow the online instructions at www.Ralphs.com. You will be asked to set up an account, a password, and select your organization. Our NPO# is 80103.
