Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Summer Camp exists to deepen Junior High and High School student’s knowledge of Christ, his will, and his Word so that they grow in their relationship with their savior and cultivate community with one another

  • Title: In His Presence

Topic: When we look at the stars, mountains, oceans, animals, and all of creation, we see clear signs that God exists. But God has done more than just reveal Himself through the world around us, He invites us into a personal relationship with Him. Through the Scriptures, and ultimately through His Son, Jesus Christ, God makes His character and His will known to us.

As Christians, we can grow close to God through His Word, through prayer, and through the Church, by the power of the Holy Spirit within us. Because of Jesus, we have the incredible privilege of living in God’s presence every day.

If you have ever felt distant from God and want to know and love Him more deeply, Summer Camp will help you learn how to seek Him and grow in a deeper relationship with Him by spending time in His presence.

  • Patrick Carmichael graduated from The Master's College in 2007 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and an emphasis in Biblical Exposition. During his time in college, he served as the Junior High Youth Pastor at Shepherd's Community Church. Some of his favorite memories from his college days were living in Israel for a semester, leading worship through with the chapel band at Master's College, and then going to Hume Lake and living there for a summer leading worship through song with some of his best friends. Patrick then graduated from The Master's Seminary in May 2010 with his M.Div. and in May 2021 with his D.Min. He served as the Pastor of Student Ministries at The Bridge Bible Fellowship until the fall of 2013, when The Bridge Bible Fellowship planted Christ Bible Church. Patrick has served as the Lead Teaching Pastor at Christ Bible Church ever since. He loves teaching God's precious Word and spending time discipling others. He also loves the outdoors, music, and reading. But his greatest joy is being with his precious family. He is married to the love of his life, Hannah, and they have three children, Chelsea, Ethan, and Tyler.
