Prayer at Grace

The practice of prayer undergirds all we do at Grace Baptist Church—engaging with and relying on God as we make and multiply Christ-followers who magnify the glory of God. The Father cares about the needs of his children and invites them to bring every need before him. But prayer isn’t a transaction of needs—it’s the way God’s children spend time in communion with Him.

Power Plant

Power Plant is  a weekly prayer group that meets before services, to pray for our pastors, leaders, congregants, and needs within the church. Modeled after the famous group that met at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, we believe that it is the power of God alone that can change people at Grace. Please consider joining us at 8:15 on Sundays in the Prayer Room.

Prayer Partners

After each service we have someone from the Grace family available to listen and pray for the needs within our congregation and community. There may be Grace family or people new to Grace in need of prayer and we want to show the love of Christ by bringing their cares before the Lord and then pointing them to resources within the Church body. If you are interested in being a Prayer Partner please email prayer@gracebaptist.org

I have lost my job and have been under immense stress and anxiety as I worry about paying for my college going kid ( who is reluctant to believe in Our Lord and Savior). Please pray for our family and also for all the medical professionals who are working over time to save sick patients.

I need wisdom. My father lives in NV, is unable to care for himself, slowly dying and not saved. My husband has complications of diabetes & cog impairment. My heart tells me to take my husband and go care for Dad. My sister is 30 min away but she can only go 1-2 a week. Father, give me wisdom.

I truly pray from the bottom of my heart that this pandemic and crisis we are facing in our nation gets better. We know with God, nothing is impossible, He is the one who knows and handles it all and cares for us. So my prayer is that God is with each and every human being impacted by this crisis.

I went to recall this weekend and felt something I've never felt. I cried just at the fact that when I was a freshman last year my friend who was a freshman like me was pregnant and lost her baby at six months pregnant. It was very difficult and hard and I haven't heard from her in a year.
