One of our main goals as a ministry to kids is to support parents as the primary disciplers of their children. In our weekend Grace Kids classes the truth of God's Word is talked about in age appropriate ways. These questions are designed to help you extend the weekend lesson from church and engage in conversation with your kids. If you have questions or suggestions, please let us know. kids@gracebaptist.org

Bible Passage: Daniel 3

Abstract: Last weekend we dove deeper into Israel's exile, specifically the book of Daniel! Daniel was 20 years in his exile where him and his three friends served King Nebuchadnezzar. King Neb decreed worship to a specific statue for everyone in Babylon, testing the faith of not only Daniel and his friends but for all of the Jews! What happens if they didn't worship the false idol? well...Furnace and fire. Amazingly, Daniel and his friends were sentenced to death but were miraculously kept alive! No, they weren't fire proof but (even better) they had God on their side! God would use them as a demonstration of faith by delivering them for their faithfulness towards the one true God! We have also received this deliverance, as Jesus paid our sentence to death by placing himself on the cross!
