One of our main goals as a ministry to kids is to support parents as the primary disciplers of their children. In our weekend Grace Kids classes the truth of God's Word is talked about in age appropriate ways. These questions are designed to help you extend the weekend lesson from church and engage in conversation with your kids. If you have questions or suggestions, please let us know. kids@gracebaptist.org

Dinner Discussions- March 7/8

Bible Passage: Luke 1

Abstract: After 400 years of silence, God spoke once again through the angel Gabriel to a man named Zechariah. This weekend we see God telling Zechariah that after many years of not having children, He would answer his prayer. Doubting God's promise to him, God muted Zechariah until God fulfilled His promise. A little boy was born who would be later known as John the Baptist! John the Baptist was born to call Israel to repent and prepare for their coming King and Savior. John's birth fulfilled the prophecy of Malachi that God would send "the prophet Elijah" to them. Even more so, John's birth set up God's fulfillment of an even greater promise, that the Messiah was coming!
