One of our main goals as a ministry to kids is to support parents as the primary disciplers of their children. In our weekend Grace Kids classes the truth of God's Word is talked about in age appropriate ways. These questions are designed to help you extend the weekend lesson from church and engage in conversation with your kids. If you have questions or suggestions, please let us know. kids@gracebaptist.org

Bible Passage: Zechariah

Abstract:  Last week, Haggai encouraged Israel to rebuild the Temple after many years of leaving it unfinished. During this time the words of the Prophet Zechariah came to encourage Israel. Zechariah brings a message in preparation for the rebuilt Temple, to repent and remember their God and His promises while looking forward to the future. God promises them that He will rebuild Jerusalem, remove their sin and judge their enemies. The latter half of Zechariah discusses their future hope in the coming Messiah and the establishment of God's kingdom. Just as Israel's hope was in God's future Kingdom we look forward to it as well! But, the big difference is that God has fulfilled the coming of the Messiah because Jesus came! Through Jesus we are cleansed of our sin, awaiting His arrival to establish God's future kingdom!
