One of our main goals as a ministry to kids is to support parents as the primary disciplers of their children. In our weekend Grace Kids classes the truth of God's Word is talked about in age appropriate ways. These questions are designed to help you extend the weekend lesson from church and engage in conversation with your kids. If you have questions or suggestions, please let us know.

Bible Passage: 2 Chronicles 36

Abstract: This weekend we finished our final chapter in the Historical books of the Old Testament. 2 Chronicles 36 captures the follow through to God's constant warning to Israel, that He would raise up a nation who would take them from their land. Unfortunately for them, they did not listen...Our final chapter records the failure of four kings to lead while being ruled by the Babylonian King, Nebuchadnezzar. This King took Israel from their land and pillaged God's Temple, holding control over them for 70 years! I hope this doesn't make God seem uninvolved, he certainly was! God promised them that before this happened He would bring them back! Moreover, He would establish His throne forever! God did bring them back through Cyrus the Great, a Persian King who conquered Babylon. Cyrus ordered them to return to their land and rebuild the Temple! God has always remained faithful to His people, Amen!
