TRIP DATES:  July 15 - July 25

TUESDAY, JULY 25:

Team Nicaragua has arrived home following a wonderful 10 days of ministry to the people of Masaya, Nicaragua.  Thank you for your prayers and we would ask that you continue to pray for the people there.

THURSDAY, JULY 20:

As always it is beyond words to express what we feel in our hearts to see what God does through simple people like us.

We finished the day with a family seminar, lots of people from the main church came, especially women. Pray that God give us wisdom to offer the proper counseling to the people that come to us.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 19:

David writes:

We decided not to go out in Masaya to preach, to take precautions, since they are celebrating the anniversary of the revolution of this country and the environment is a little tense due to politics. We stayed in the hotel preparing the programs that we are going to do in Las Contezas.

Even though we had problems with the politics and the tense situation, the Lord brought more that 180 people to this place, at time we didn't know what to do with all these people. We had children of all ages, adults of ages. With the Lord's faithfulness we were able to manage and we had an extraordinary time. We think that we'll have twice as many people tomorrow. We are asking you to pray that the Lord multiplies the teaching material since we are running low.

THURSDAY, JULY 20:

David writes:

The day started a little different, Chico Cantero, woke up ill with stomach ache and vomiting. We got worried and some of the members of the group were concerned, but God in his kindness utilized this moment to show us how united the whole group is. We had tears when we prayed for him and saw him in bed crying. We prayed for him and a local friend doctor examined him and said that it was nothing serious and prescribed him stomach medicine. Pray for the group, we probably should be following the instructions more closely regarding drinking the local water.

I hope to send a smaller report next time, but I wanted you to know this to rejoice together with us.

God bless you.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 19:

Ricardo writes:

Hello from Nicaragua

We have continued working for the Lord in VBS and we completed our first mission ( Las pilas del occidente) with 120 people in attendance and a lot of work fighting with the heat and humidity.  But we are filled with joy and happiness seeing God working thru us.

We thank you for all your prayers-please keep them going up, as we continue working. As of today we have had 60 decisions for Christ. We still have two more

missions to complete and more doors on which to Knock. We are e xpecting God to manifest himself over and over again.

SATURDAY, JULY 15:

Ana called saying:

Team Nicaragua arrived safely and were at their hotel resting and showering.  They would be going to a church service in the evening and begin their ministry on Sunday.  Please pray that they would be effective and show the love of Christ to the Nicaraguans.
