Us
MOPS stands for Mothers of Pre-Schoolers. We exist
to meet the needs of every mom…stay-at-home,
working, teen, single and married moms with different
lifestyles who share a similar desire to be the
best moms they can be. MOPS recognized that the
years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational
in a mother-child relationship. Our goal is to nurture
that relationship through a supportive environment
that will equip you with useful resources.
MOPS is about ...
• Celebrating motherhood
• Meeting needs
• Making Connections
• Experiencing God’s love...through
relationships & resources.
Grace Baptist Church’s MOPS chapter provides
a caring atmosphere for mothers of young children
to recharge themselves, make new friends and deepen
their relationships with Christ. We meet every other
Thursday morning during the school year. Our meetings
include interesting speakers on topics ranging from
marriage and family issues to home decorating and
fitness. MOPS members also participate in small
discussion groups that allow moms to foster meaningful
friendships while sharing the joys and challenges
of parenting young children. This program is not
just for women attending Grace Baptist, but is open
to all moms in our community with children ranging
in age from infancy through the pre-school years.
We encourage you to invite your friends to our MOPS
program.

When and where do the MOPS meetings occur?
MOPS meetings take place in the Conference Center
on the campus of Grace Baptist Church every other
Thursday morning from 9:00am until 11:30am. Registration
is on a semester basis—the fall semester runs
from September through December, the spring semester
runs from February through May.
Dates for the next registration (Fall
2008) will be posted when they become available.
When you come to a MOPS meeting you will:
Enjoy eating a wonderful breakfast, drink all the
coffee, tea, and juice you want, meet and talk to
a friendly group of fellow moms who are dealing
with similar issues, hear from inspiring and informative
speakers, have the opportunity to create fantastic
crafts and get your morning off to a healthy and
happy start.
