Our vision here at GBC Student Missions . . .

is to provide an avenue to further the gospel and extend discipleship through short term mission trips and outreach opportunities locally and internationally.  Our purpose is to give students the training, develop character, passion, and purpose to make a difference around the world.  We will strive to impart the vision of selflessness and giving one's self to the greater goal of reaching the lost.

Missions 2012

SPRING BREAK JH & HS MEXICO MISSION TRIP

Partner with Caravan Ministries*Total Cost to participant: $220.00 ($100 due with application, $120 due 3/4/12) Covers your food, lodging & travel*Support letters mailed out to non-GBC individuals to raise funds for homes built on mission trip on 12/13*Summary of trip:  After starting our day with devotions and time in the Word collectively,  we then split into teams and head off to our various job sites.  There we will build and eat lunch provided by the on-site family. While some teams are building, others will be ministering in orphanages.  We then come back together, debrief and share a meal together on the base.  Bathrooms are provided, but showers are not.  Dates: April 1-6

HAITI MISSION TRIP

Partner with Connect2 Ministries and Greg Barshaw *Total cost to participant $2000.00 ($100 due with application) * Support letters mailed out to non-GBC individuals on 12/13 to raise support for expenses for trip.  *Summary of trip:We will be working in an orphanage (loving kids, repairs, doing a VBS, starting a vegetable garden), jobs around the church. This trip is new for Student Ministries.  Dates:  July 27-Aug 4
