Epiphany,
Grace’s drama ministry, is a company
of actors, writers, artists and tech crew
who delight in being used of the Lord to
creatively present divine truth through live
theater, film, and mixed media. Meeting weekly
for Bible study and prayer, acting technique
and rehearsals, the company seeks to worship
God, nurture spiritual growth, develop and
hone performance skills, create film and
theater pieces or rehearse classic plays
as artists of faith. Epiphany has produced
thought-provoking scenes that correspond
to Biblical passages taught in weekend and
holiday worship services, crafted live theater
productions showcasing classic monologues
and scenes interspersed with Scripture, and
produced full-length plays and short films…all
with the aim of demonstrating the power and
presence of God in the full range of authentic
human experience.
Periodic
2-weekend Intensive Training Workshops are
held as a pre-requisite to joining the company.
Professionals and amateurs alike benefit
from the sharpening of creative skills through
theater exercises, scene study, improvisation,
and rehearsal in these workshops. The next
Intensive Workshop will be announced in the
Grace Bulletin (date TBD).
