Grace Library Temporarily Closed

After much thought and discussion, I am happy to let you know the Grace Baptist Library will continue to serve our congregation and our valley. Listening to so many of you share your hearts and experiences, and having taken time to re-consider all the pertinent data and information, the Elder Team has determined it is in the best interest of our over-all ministry to keep this valuable resource.

In the coming months, the library will be temporarily closed for some improvements and reconfiguration in the library space with a goal of opening by mid-summer. As well, we’ll be looking to enhance the library’s software system as well as the possibility of offering eBook resources, an area that continues to grow exponentially and prepares us to serve future generations better.

Lastly, I want to thank you personally for dialoguing with me over the past few weeks. It is essential that brothers and sisters in Christ be open, direct, winsome, and respectful as we deal with our differences. Not only does this testify to our “new creation” status in Christ, but it also allows for better understanding as we seek the best outcome together.

Grace to you!
