Greetings in the name of Christ who is Lord of cyber-space
too! Your search engine and cursor have, under God’s
hand, brought you to our electronic address on earth.
Contained on this site are computer maps
and short-cuts to just about everything we could imagine to
tell you about us as a church family. One of the important
things graphics, graphs or bytes could not capture is our
heart. Despite sophisticated hardware and brilliant people,
the heart of a matter, especially a church, probably needs
as much telling as showing.
Our church is a family birthed in 1961 by
dedicated believers in "cowboy country" just north
of Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. From day one,
these spiritual pioneers wanted a place where a relationship
to Christ was presented clearly. That hasn't changed. One
of our primary desires is to know where a person stands with
the Savior, and how we might help them know Him as He wants
to be known.
Our church is a family. We’re bound
together through our mutual commitment to Christ and love
for each other. Though God’s added many to us, we still
sense we are more part of a family than we are members of
an organization.
Children were first tended and taught in
the rooms of a house, a chicken coop, and eventually a building
that’s just called "The Children’s Building."
Kids are important to us as a family. We do all we can from
the time they’re born to support their spiritual nurture
in any way possible. Dads stand with their children, and pray
for them before they help our pastors baptize them. Many young
couples stand before our people, and tell us as we dedicate
their children, how we can best pray for them. Hundreds volunteer
hours weekly to minister to families and their children.
In many ways the heart of our church is the
pulse of the families and individuals who call Grace home.
While here we hope any person or family comes to know Christ,
grow in Christ, walk with Christ and serve Christ.
All that you can access as information on
this electronic inquiry is built around the Savior and our
desire to serve Him with our whole heart. Behind all the buttons
and information we hope you hear our heartbeat. A heart given
to the Savior, fostered by a marvelous heritage and moving
us toward an even brighter future.
If you don’t have a local "spiritual
family" to worship with, come home to Grace. We’d
love to know you better, help where we might, and enjoy together
the fullness of life that comes from knowing God through His
son Jesus Christ. Thanks for visiting our virtually real web
site. You’re welcome to come by and enjoy the real thing
any time.
